Fall 2022: Gradients galore

To jazz up early versions of our website, product designer Jared (aka the Blobfather) started sprinkling gradients into the background of a few pages.

December 2022: First inklings

Over the holidays, Jared was kicking around ideas for Omni's 404 page. He took the gradients, drew some faces on them, and added an "exploding" effect when clicking on them. But it was just a prototype, until...

April 28, 2023: Blobby goes live!

Luke, founding engineer, brought Blobby to life on the 404 page.

May 2, 2023: Slack 🤝 Blobby

The start of Blobby's Slack supremacy. Jared introduces the Blobby emojis into Slack.

June 2024: Blobby becomes our AI agent

When building our first AI chat experience, Gustav (software engineer) made Blobby the heart of every conversation.

November 2024: Blobby gets fancy

Gradients were just the beginning. For our company offsite, Jared whipped up custom Blobbies for each of our Omni values. Little did he know he was unleashing a world of Blobby-bilities.

Since then... Blobby everywhere

Blobby is now woven into every AI touchpoint in the app. Our sales team gets in on the fun too, often making prospects and customers their own personalized Blobby. Blobby has become a beloved part of the Omni brand. We hope you love Blobby as much as we do.
