Today we’re beginning the roll out of a new Omni experience in San Francisco, Portland, and two soon-to-launch cities (more to come on that later this month!). With these updates, Omni members will now be able to instantly rent and pick up their items from trusted businesses in their neighborhood. Explore the pilot here.

We’ve already partnered with over 50 retailers and will be adding more every day. Inventory available from participating businesses ranges from camping equipment to surfboards to bikes and gardening tools.

Over the past few months, we’ve tested the new experience in San Francisco and found that most users opted to pick up their rentals. Renter feedback showed that they valued the flexibility of picking up items at their convenience for free rather than committing to an exact appointment time and paying a delivery fee.
