You have an idea, Apps help you get there
Describe the tool you need in chat. Omni's AI builds it on the semantic model your team already trusts.

Easy to build, built to hold up
The agent helps anyone build, the foundation underneath helps everyone trust it.
Our layered approach:
AI: Agent builds for you.
UI: Anyone can tune and validate from the UI, without knowing SQL or code.
Enterprise governed code: Built on your semantic model, with defined metrics, user permissions, and versioning.
Everything an app needs is in your model
You already built the foundation. Apps sit on the same model and permissions as your dashboards, exploration, and AI. Your work carries over.
Just ask
Tell Omni’s AI what to build — an org chart, a budget vs. actuals tracker, a pipeline tracker. It builds the app directly on your governed model, with your security permissions already in place.
Yours to shape
The AI’s first version is a starting point you can iterate on. Change the layout, adjust the logic, validate the result all from the UI. No SQL or code required.
Live queries, by reference
Apps query by reference, not raw SQL. They inherit the metrics, permissions, and versioning your data team already trusts.
Governed and sandboxed
Every app runs inside Omni's permissions: folders, groups, roles, row-level security, and user attributes all apply. The generated front end is sandboxed in an iframe that blocks external network calls, and every query is auditable.
Hosted and shareable
Apps are first-class Omni content. Share with a URL, move them between folders, save-as. They inherit the same content and permission system everything else in Omni uses.

Built to last
App logic lives in the semantic model, not the generated code. Change a metric or a health-score definition once and every app that uses it updates with it. No code archaeology, no silent rot.
Previously, it would not have been possible to create such a dynamic application with traditional dashboard visualization tools. With Omni’s new Apps functionality, a recently hired analyst was able to build our Campaign Hierarchy & Dependency Graph App in a few hours. This feature truly delivers on the promise of self-service BI, blending a shared, governed data layer with flexible design.
