  • Blobby is getting smarter again. Now you can build fields directly from the AI query (of course inside the permission envelope of the core app). This means on-the-fly aggregates, derivative dimensions, etc are as easy as telling the AI what you want.

  • We're bringing Blobby wherever you want to take him. Here's a quick demo of Omni in Goose (https://github.com/block/goose) alongside generic AI functions. Now data is accessible from whatever chat services make sense in your org.

  • We're beefing up the querying engine to open up level of detail calculations in Omni. Escape or force grouping independent of the rest of the query. Great for dynamic percent of totals, comparison to unfiltered data, or other complex calculations. Let us know what you want to see here.

  • Now Blobby will tell you what it's doing while it does it, improving performance and the general experience.

  • We tuned up the dashboard layout experience to make sizing tiles more delightful.

  • We added some new config to force exposing long filter lists beyond the default single line.

  • Sometimes data isn't quite at the right grain for a great visualization, so we added tooling to aggregate directly from the visualization.

  • We've improved the front-end for the long tail of color mapping over huge lists.

  • A nice mini app to show custom per-use navigation for an embedded experience.

  • Now all the data modeling you do in Omni can also be lifted to the new Snowflake Semantic layer for use in Cortex AI.

  • We tuned up the group page to improve performing by 100x on long user lists.
