Tons of AI

• Blobby didn't want Claude to have all the fun. Soon we'll open up different LLM providers ChatGPT, Gemini, BYO. Will make sure there are admin controls here of course for folks that want it.

• Blobby has all sorts of skills - agentic querying, visualization, summarization, field building, calculation. We wanted to provide power users a way to direct to these different tools explicitly.

• We tuned up with streaming chat experience to hide the less important while still showing the full train of thought when you need it.

• A quick DIY project to open up voice with Blobby. Early days, but helps open up the imagination for what's possible.

All sort of workbook field building

• Bringing the front-end totals experience to SQL queries (think simple sum, count, average, etc down a column)

• It's now a couple click to build duration fields in the UI (of course with model pushdown when needed).

• Now full range calculations - think SUM(B:B), AVERAGE(C:C), etc - can be pushed down using LOD fields. This makes comparison fields trivial to build in the UI but manage like robust data model when you need it.

• Some new toggles with Top N to ignore / include filters for comparison to the population at large or not.

• Now you can quickly toggle between the specific fields in use or the views in use - most helpful in gigantic topics or all views and fields.

• We made it simple to organize workbook tabs by type, name, etc (tell us anything else you want to see here).

More dashboard work

• A nice end-to-end demo of the new tabs (pages) experience for dashboards. Beta out now, let us know if you want activated.

• A first look at playing around with cross-filterable dashboards. We have some UX to consider around native filters vs cross-filters and what we want to allow. Would love feedback on whether these should be 'different' vs dovetailing into the native filter experience.

• Sometimes you just want to map a filter to 40 tiles at once. We're leaving in the in-line UX but now offering a bulk mapping experience alongside.

• Some new designs were building towards for complex multi-tab dashboards.

• We built a front-end UX around organizing topics into groups with auto-complete, etc for a nicer experience.

And more all over the app

• Now you can query Snowflake semantic views directly in Omni. This means we now have translators back and forth for more native experience, but also have rounded out querying them directly too.

• For the Blobby lovers out there, now you can build your own avatar using our custom Blobby builder.

• Continue to build out more native vis. Here we have an early look at Sankey charts.

• Now the queries page will live update so you can actively track and manage database usage from Omni (for one minute - we don't want these pages polling forever).

• The dbt integration is now up and running in Azure as well - more progress getting the full app available in Azure.

• We're making the heuristics for choosing the right aggregate better to make sure queries get faster for end users.

• Plus we're continuing to tune up the new docs experience
